Does anyone know anything of alchemy used in fantasy settings? Such as, alchemists who would attempt to create medicines and remedies to diseases? I am not looking for specifically real-world medieval alchemists. Essentially I am looking for information on how alchemy was generally used in fantasy according to many sources.
