I'm putting this here as a sort of starting point for writers who wish to address issues of inequality in their fiction. Even if you think you have a pretty good idea about how inequality and discrimination work, I still recommend reading these.

Do note that many of these articles were written at least several years ago, in slightly different political climates, so things may be somewhat different now than they are described in the articles. They should not be taken as a final word on the state of things now and everywhere (you'll still have to do research into the current political climate if that's what you're trying to address), but rather as tools to consider how other people's experiences might be.
